General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1 – Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “GTC”) apply to all sales of products carried out by Daosium (hereinafter “the Seller”) through its website www.daosium.com (hereinafter “the Site”).

By placing an order on the Site, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these GTC without reservation. The contractual relationship between the parties is governed exclusively by these GTC, to the exclusion of any other conditions.

The Seller reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time and without prior notice. The applicable version is the one in force at the time the order is placed.

2 – Products

The products offered for sale on the Site include food products, beverages, artisanal goods, and related premium items. These products are mainly sourced from small producers and artisans in Greece.

The Seller reserves the right to add or remove product categories depending on availability and market opportunities.

The Seller undertakes to provide products that comply with applicable regulations and quality standards. Product photographs and illustrations are provided for information purposes only and are non-contractual.

3 – Prices

Product prices are displayed on the Site in euros (€), all taxes included (VAT included where applicable), excluding shipping costs.

The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, products are invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time the order is validated by the customer.

4 – Orders

Orders may be placed on the Site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To place an order, the customer must add products to their cart and complete the online order form, including delivery details and payment method.

Order validation constitutes full acceptance of these GTC.

The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order from a customer with whom there is an ongoing dispute.

5 – Payment

Payment for products is made using the following methods:

  • Credit or debit card

  • PayPal

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Revolut

  • Coinbase

The Seller reserves the right to add or remove payment methods at any time.

All transactions are secured according to the latest security standards. The customer guarantees that they are fully authorized to use the selected payment method.

The Seller reserves the right to suspend or cancel any order in the event of payment refusal by authorized institutions or in case of non-payment.

6 – Order cancellation and modification

Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled provided they have not yet been shipped.

If a refund is requested, transaction fees charged by payment providers—if already incurred—cannot be refunded.

Any cancellation request must be made via the contact form or WhatsApp, clearly stating the order reference.

Modification

If the customer wishes to modify an order, they must contact the Seller via the contact form or WhatsApp, providing the order reference. Modifications are subject to feasibility and to the order not having been shipped

7 – Delivery

Products are delivered to the address provided by the customer at the time of ordering. The Seller undertakes to prepare and dispatch orders as quickly as possible, subject to product availability.

The following delivery methods may be offered, depending on destination and availability:

  • DHL Express

  • DHL Economy

  • Greek national postal service (ELTA) with tracking

Once shipped, a tracking number is sent to the customer. Tracking allows real-time monitoring and serves as proof of delivery provided by the carrier.

In the event of delay, loss, or delivery issues, the Seller may open a claim with the carrier. The Seller’s responsibility is limited to the handover of the parcel to the selected carrier.

Delivery times provided during checkout are indicative only and do not constitute a firm commitment. Shipping costs are borne by the customer and are displayed before order confirmation.

The Seller cannot be held responsible for delivery failure due to incorrect or incomplete address information or recipient absence.

8 – Claims

Any claim must be submitted via the contact form.

Claims must be made within 2 days of receipt of the products.

9 – Right of withdrawal

In accordance with applicable law, the customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify any reason.

Products must be returned unused, complete, and in their original sealed packaging where applicable. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

Legal exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to:

  • Perishable goods or products likely to deteriorate rapidly

  • Sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons once opened (e.g. cosmetics)

  • Personalized products

  • Goods inseparably mixed after delivery

Procedure

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must contact the Seller via the contact form, indicating the order number.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt of compliant returned products, using the original payment method. This does not affect statutory warranty rights.

Any dispute relating to the use of the website shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Greek courts.

11 – Personal data protection

12 – Sale of alcoholic beverages

The sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited to minors. By placing an order, the customer confirms that they meet the legal drinking age in the delivery country.

The Seller or carrier may request age verification and refuse delivery in case of doubt, without liability for resulting delays or cancellations.

13 – Customs duties, taxes, and import restrictions

Shipments outside the European Union or to territories subject to import duties may incur customs fees, local VAT, or clearance charges payable by the customer.

The customer is responsible for verifying product compliance with local regulations and for paying applicable charges. The Seller cannot be held responsible for customs delays or blockages.

14 – Disputes

In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution first.

Failing this, the dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.
